Vitavia Greenhouse – Back To Baseics!
An important factor for successfully assembling a greenhouse, as with most buildings, is ensuring you start with a firm and level foundation. Without a good base on which to build, problems can arise. A galvanised steel Vitavia base, colour matched with the frame, comes as an additional cost effective accessory and provides the perfect foundation.
Increased eave height is an added advantage of a steel base. With an additional 6.5cm to 12.5cm in height, depending on the model, useful extra working space is achieved.
Fixing kits are available to secure the steel bases to concrete or other solid ground. The clips can be screwed into the ground and neatly clasp the bottom edges of the base, or, if your base is positioned on soil, long stakes are supplied to hold the base firmly in place.
